Micropolitan Matchmakers is open in downtown Schenectady (508 State St at Palette Schenectady), where founders Becky Daniels and Gabby Fisher are out to demonstrate that “Love is Economic Development”. Statistically, people in relationships are 37 percent more productive at work, so increasing the number of “matched” people in our community promises to help build a happier and more stable workforce. Chamber President & CEO Mark Eagan emceed the event, along with Senator Jim Tedisco, Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, Mayor Gary McCarthy, County Legislator Richard Ruzzo, Metroplex Chairman Ray Gillen and DSIC Executive Director Jim Salengo.
