Member Spotlight: Tech Forward, Inc.
Tech Forward, Inc. was founded by Wendi Enright in 2015 in her garage and home office. Five years later, the business now overlooks the enclosed atrium in the Times Union Center. A Veteran and Woman-Owned Business, Tech Forward offers custom digital signs, video walls, network architecture and installation and content management.
James Anilowski and Wendi Enright (the two partners) met playing on a traveling tennis team together and played as doubles partners for several years. James, a former Marine, was a one-man-IT show at the time, looking to potentially scale up; and Wendi, recently relocated back home from a position in NYC, was looking for an opportunity to capitalize on her MBA and executive management experience. To this day they still enjoy net sports, playing ping pong on the table in their IT office!
Enright notes that almost all of her major clients have come through networking at Chamber events and says that her role as a Chamber Ambassador provides a level of credibility and prestige to her business. She finds it especially fascinating to hear new ideas from successful entrepreneurs.
In her spare time Enright enjoys spending time enjoying all that the Capital Region has to offer, like hiking, sports and music events at the Times Union Center and the vibrant arts scene.
