Stram Center is devoted to the wellness and care of their patients. Since 2002, the founder Dr. Ronald Stram has brought functional medicine to the Capital Region. Investigative medicine is their strategy in finding the root cause of disease, not merely treating a symptom.
All new patients benefit from the whole team approach. Stram Center is a collaboration of medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, nurse practitioners, physician associates, doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, massage therapists, and nursing teams. Every week we do case reviews with the full team, to come up with the best solutions and treatments. More minds are better than one! This collaborative, team approach differentiates Stram Center from its competitors. This approach is really the medicine of the future rather than the singular approach of mainstream medicine where patients tend to go from one specialist to another treating one organ at a time. WE LOOK FOR THE ROOT CAUSE OF ILLNESS, by practicing investigative medicine.
Stram Center has been treating Lyme disease since 2022 and has the most clinical experience in the Capital Region with this complex disease. It is the only free-standing medical clinic to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) at high grade medical pressure outside of a hospital setting. We offer HBOT to wounded vets at no charge to give back to our national heroes.

Dr. Stram and his family have been living in the Capital Region for more than 30 years, where he was confident in good education, diverse opportunities, and access to the great outdoors, where Dr. Stram and his family, especially his two dogs, spend so much time when not at the Stram Center.
