McNamee Lochner Attorneys Named Lawyer of the Year

Two McNamee Lochner attorneys, Amy S. O’Connor and John J. Privitera, have received the Albany 2018 award “Lawyer of the Year” in the 24th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America©. O’Connor was selected “Lawyer of the Year” in Trusts and Estates, and Privitera was selected as “Lawyer of the Year” in Litigation – Environmental.

Amy S. O’Connor is Chair of the firm’s Trusts, Estates & Elder Law Department. With a concentration in elder law, estate planning, and trust and estate administration, her practice encompasses all aspects of trusts and estates law and elder law, including estate tax planning, probate and administration of estates and trusts, establishment of revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, health care proxies, living wills, and powers of attorney.

John J. Privitera is Chair of the firm’s Environmental Law Department. He is active in all areas of environmental law including land use, environmental litigation, enforcement, citizen suits, regulatory affairs, compliance matters, hazardous wastes and natural resource damages. He also provides advice and counsel regarding the environmental aspects of business transactions and energy matters.
