McDonald’s Glenville Goes High Tech

The Chamber, local elected officials, customers, family, friends and many other supporters helped the Reeher Organization open their refurbished, state-of-the-art McDonald’s restaurant in the Town of Glenville on Thursday, May 30.

The Reeher Organization, who runs numerous McDonald’s locations around the Capital Region, is celebrating the specialized customer service now available at their Glenville restaurant. The building, which has been in existence for more then 20 years, was completely remodeled. It now features easy touch screen kiosks that allow customers to browse the menu at their leisure, check nutritional information, customize their sandwiches and of course, order food. In addition, once the food is ordered, it can be delivered right to your table at the restaurant. With the new mobile app, customers can order their food ahead of time and utilize curbside pickup. Additionally, UberEATS has partnered with McDonald’s and will now deliver your food directly to your door. All of these new added features are meant to enhance the customer’s experience.

To commemorate the day, and in keeping with their focus on community involvement, Kathie and John Reeher donated to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Albany, Veterans Miracle Center, Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association, AMVETS and the Police K9 Initiative.

Prior to the ribbon cutting there was a flag raising ceremony put on by the Schenectady AMVETS and Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association. A beautiful rendition of the national anthem was sung by MiSci’s Tara Burnham.
