Law Office of Catherine M. Hedgeman announces the addition of Mario Cometti as “Of Counsel.”
Previously a managing partner at an Albany law firm, Cometti brings more than two decades of experience representing both businesses and individuals across New York state as well as nationwide. His expertise in litigation practice both civil and commercial will allow the Law Office of Catherine M. Hedgeman to expand its litigation capacity.
In addition to his litigation experience, Cometti also possesses a background in family and matrimonial law, contract disputes and negotiations, property rights, child and spousal support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence issues, and divorce law. He also brings experience in personal injury lawsuits, both as a defense and plaintiff counsel.
In addition to his commitment to practicing law, Cometti is an active member of the community, and is highly regarded across the state for his support and advocacy in the veteran’s community. He is the creator and Chair of the Alliance Board for Veterans in Economic Transition Conference (VETCON) which has become one of the premier veterans business conferences in the country., an organization involved in the assistance of nonprofit and educational organizations. Cometti also plays a major role in the development of local startup companies, and looks to provide legal advisement as they become established.
