The Chamber and it’s Ambassadors along with local officials, family and friends celebrated with Maria DeAngelo, owner and operator of Mraia’s Cafe & Catering, on October 11th. The ribbon cutting ceremony kicked off a nice event with tastings from Maria’s kitchen.
Maria has over twenty years’ experience starting with cooking at her parent’s pizza place at the age of fifteen. After which she worked at local restaurants learning different cuisines and techniques.
Maria’s Café and Catering offers fresh ground organic and fair-trade coffee. Maria’s feel good food with a modern twist provides a diverse menu from soups, salads and sandwiches to delicious dinner specials.
At Maria’s Café and Catering herbs, flowers, local artwork and vintage records line the walls and fills the café with a warm ambiance. They serve breakfast and lunch Sunday through Friday and dinners to take home or dine in on Mondays and Wednesday through Friday.
