May 23, 2017Macy’s Colonie Hosts a Morning of “It’s Your Time” Dress Fittings and Makeovers for BetterU Participants
For the past 12 weeks, 13 women have participated in the American Heart Association’s BetterU program. They have worked out regularly at the YMCA and attended educational seminars at CAP COM Federal Credit Union and Price Chopper/Market 32. They have lost inches and pounds, and gained muscle and self-confidence. By improving their health, they have reduced their risk of heart disease and stroke. Macy’s is a national sponsor of the Go Red for Women movement.
Macy’s in Colonie Center will host these women on Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to noon for Red Dress fittings in private fitting rooms led by Macy’s MyStylist, Personal Shopper, Karina Marte. There will also be makeovers in Macy’s Colonie’s newly remodeled Spa Room for the BetterU participants in advance of their debut Thursday at the Go Red for Women Luncheon to showcase their health improvements. Make-up will be done by Jennifer Dietzway, manager of Macy’s, Colonie.
