June 18, 2015Lord & Taylor to Celebrate Man’s Health on Father’s Day Weekend
WHAT: With the arrival of Men’s Health Month and Father’s Day in June, Lord & Taylor at Crossgates Mall in Albany is hosting a Men’s Health event. Five percent of the day’s sales will benefit the American Cancer Society. According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in American men. About one man in seven will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. In addition, colon cancer is the most preventable form of cancer in both men and women. The American Cancer Society is dedicated to making sure that 80% of the population is being screened for colon cancer by 2018.
Lord & Taylor is proudly hosting a number of in-store activities that will take place throughout the day in which shoppers can participate. Volunteers from the local American Cancer Society will be on hand to offer important information on prostate cancer screening and early detection. In addition, shoppers can enjoy fitness and nutrition advice, men’s grooming tips, proper skincare and more.
