Local Photographer Inducted into Prestigious Marquis Who’s Who in America

Shannon Fosse, co-owner of Unspoken Art, has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who in America for her outstanding contributions to the field of professional photography and her dedication to the Capital Region.

Since 1899, Marquis Who’s Who has remained the standard for reliable and comprehensive biographical data. This recognition is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated leadership, excellence, and significant achievement in their professional fields.

“I love stories,” says Fossé. “I love to experience my clients’ stories, shape their stories through my camera lens, and preserve their stories in archival heirlooms. I am now honored to have my own story woven into the story of America.”

Fossé, a specialist in boutique portraiture, is known throughout the Capital Region for her relationship-based approach to photography. Through her Boutique In-Person Consultations and custom-designed wall art, she has helped hundreds of local families preserve their legacies. Beyond her studio work, Fosse is a student of the Photography Business Institute and is committed to higher education.

Beyond her professional accolades, Fossé has used her business, Unspoken Art, as a vehicle for community support. In 2024 and 2025 alone, she donated more than $5,500 to local nonprofits and fundraisers, reinforcing her commitment to making a positive impact in the Albany area.
