Logan will probably never walk, was the news Logan’s parents heard after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 3 ½ months old.

For the first two years of Logan’s life, he, along with his parents, spent the majority of time in Albany Medical Centers Melodies Center. Through multiple surgeries, countless chemo treatments and because of the location of the tumor, Logan’s parents were repeatedly told, he may never walk, or talk, and may even be fully paralyzed.  Logan has a TBI (traumatic brain injury) from both the location of the tumor along with all the procedures.

However, this worst-case scenario was never an option for Logan or his parents. After each treatment and each surgery, Logan has come out fighting and stronger than before. Now, at four years old, Logan is running circles around his parents and is on the go all the time.
