November 4, 2015Local Boy Goes to Broadway!
Richard Gatta , newly appointed Assistant Artistic Director, under Darlene Myers of Northeast Ballet Co . has just accepted the position as Dance Captain for Steven Martin’s new show ” Bright Star” which opens at the Kennedy Center on December 17 before it travels to Broadway in March . Richard is a product of the Myers School’s Boys’s Scholarship program and former principal Dancer with Northeast Ballet Co. In Schenectady. While preparing for his debut with Martin he is rehearsing Northeast’s annual Nutcracker Production for Proctors main stage – December 5 and 6. He has been in seen in tours of Billy Elliot and numerous other dance and musical works. Bravo to Richard!
