February 15, 2017Living Resources to Host Free Home Health Aid Class
It’s that time again for LIVING RESOURCES HOME CARE AGENCY INC to offer a FREE HHA Class to those who are interested in working for us. The class starts Monday, April 17th and ends Wednesday, May 3rd 2017. The class is a total of 13 days and is NOT paid but it is FREE. Class begins promptly at 8:00am and ends at 4:30pm. You must attend the entire class on time and in full. There is also a Supervised Practical Training on 5/4/2017 and 5/5/2017 from 4:45 pm to 9:00 pm. which must be attended.
After passing the class and fulfilling your work requirement, you will be presented with a HHA certificate.
The HHA performs health and personal care services, treatments (as instructed by Nurse) and household tasks essential to the client’s health needs; does related work as required. Performs simple health care tasks, personal hygiene services and housekeeping tasks essential to the client’s health. Such services will be prescribed by a physician in accordance with the plan of treatment for the client. All services provided will be under the supervision of a registered professional nurse from the agency.
**Please note that we serve Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schoharie, Fulton, Montgomery, Washington, Warren, Columbia and Greene counties and are looking for applicants in these areas. **
The process for being accepted into class is the same as applying for a job with us.

Qualifications for this class are as follows:
- Valid NYS Driver’s license is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- FULL TIME availability to work for our company
- 100% attendance for the entire class
