LifeSong to Hold Virtual 5k June 1-7, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has been an unprecedented event in our country with schools, businesses and major sporting events being postponed or canceled. For us at LifeSong, it has meant a suspension of our usual services to the 170 people we support. We have decided to not hold the Dash on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Instead, as many local races are doing, we will be converting this year’s LifeSong Dash to a “Virtual 5K”!

Interested runners can sign up at www.lifesongdash.com. Upon registering, they will be sent a .pdf file with a personalized LifeSong “Virtual Dash” race bib to wear as they run. They will have between June 1 – June 7 to run a 5K on their own, observing all current social distancing guidelines. One completed, runners upload their times and a picture proving they ran their 5k to a special website our logistics partner, ARE Promotions, is hosting. They will be sent a finisher’s certificate and will be mailed a 2020 LifeSong Dash commemorative T-shirt.
