The Coronavirus Pandemic has changed all of our lives, but the need to combat social isolation and food insecurity for frail older adults doesn’t stop because of COVID-19 – and neither can we. Please join this year’s Honorary Event Chairs, Dale Romans and Tammy Fox, distinguished racehorse trainer and exercise rider, in an effort to raise money and a glass for our seniors!!
Although we are not holding the event in person, we know that this is the most responsible decision for staff, volunteers, attendees, vendors, and the older adults that we serve.
We hope that you’ll join us in one, or all, of the following ways:
- Join our Honorary Committee or select a Sponsorship Package.
- Consider making a donation, to help us reach our goal.
- Bid on our online auction with items ranging from jewelry to golf to overnight stays.
- Purchase a Glitzy Chance Raffle Ticket – only 100 tickets will be sold!
- Purchase a bottle of wine from our Wine Pull
Proceeds from this year’s virtual event go directly toward supporting the LifePath mission – keeping our older neighbors and friends healthy and safe by providing effective programs and supports to help them stay connected to our communities. During this time of crisis, thousands of our most vulnerable neighbors have found themselves alone, with little to eat, and almost no way to socialize. That’s where LifePath has been able to step in, we have prepared and delivered tens of thousands of meals through our Meals on Wheels Program and Grab & Go stations, and have made over 6,000 phone calls to stay connected to isolated seniors. These have been invaluable services to the older adults in our community.
