Lake George Dinner Cruise to Benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Capital Region (RMHC-CR) is hosting a special celebration of their mission aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement – the flagship of the Lake George Steamboat Company – on Friday, September 23. The “Holding Hands, Holding Hearts” sunset cruise will feature dinner, live music by Summer of Doug, and a chance to hear heartwarming stories from the families who benefit from RMHC-CR programs and services.

Families from across New York State and beyond are touched every day by RMHC-CR programs, including the Albany Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Family Room and Hospitality Cart at Albany Medical Center, and the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat at Krantz Cottage in Lake George. Drawing upon the compassion of our community, RMHC-CR provides these programs and all their related services – from meals and overnight accommodations to one-of-a-kind vacation experiences – completely free of charge. Families with children facing serious health challenges are able to stay together, close to the care they need, in family-centered spaces full of love and support.

The “Holding Hands, Holding Hearts” dinner cruise will set sail at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23 (boarding at 5:30 p.m.). During a short program, guests will learn more about how RMHC-CR supports children and families and how the support of our community makes this possible. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased online at rmhcofalbany.org/cruise. Trustco Bank is a proud Bronze Leaf sponsor of this event. Additional sponsors and event details can be found online.
