KeyBank names Choi senior banker, Commercial Banking

KeyBank announced Erica Choi has been named senior vice president and senior banker, Commercial Banking, for the Capital Region. In her role, she is responsible for business development, portfolio management and acting as trusted advisor for Commercial Banking clients throughout the Capital Region and Northeast. She is based in KeyBank’s Capital Region headquarters office at 66 South Pearl Street in downtown Albany.

Prior to joining KeyBank, Choi worked for Bank of America in Albany as Middle Market relationship manager. She has also worked as senior area manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration in Albany, N.Y., senior brand manager for Beech-Nut Brand in Amsterdam, N.Y., and senior associate brand manager for Kraft Foods in Glenview, Ill.

Choi earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and chemistry from the United States Military Academy. She subsequently served in the United States Army from 2000 to 2005 as a counter-terrorism officer, company executive officer and engineer battalion intelligence officer. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
