KeyBank Announces Promotions of Davies and Sanchez

KeyBank announced the promotions of Mark Davies to relationship manager and Kristin Sanchez to business service officer for the Capital Region Business Banking team.

In his new role, Mark Davies is responsible for small business lending and developing and growing small business relationships.

Previously, Davies served as vice president and branch manager at KeyBank. During his eleven years with the company, he has worked to accelerate revenue and profit growth in six different KeyBank locations in the Capital Region, as well as served as a KeyBank representative at the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute. He has also worked as assistant vice president and branch manager at Citizens Bank in Schenectady, N.Y., and membership manager at the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce.

Davies earned his bachelor’s degree in business economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and master’s degree in business administration from Sage Graduate School. He also holds his Series 6 license for fixed annuity products, mutual funds and life insurance.

An active member of the community, Davies has served as board chair for the Troy Salvation Army and was president of the Kiwanis Club of Troy, N.Y.

As business service officer, Kristin Sanchez is responsible for relationship management support, including assistance with sales, service and client relationship expansion and retention.

Sanchez has worked with KeyBank for 16 years. In her most recent role, she served as a personal banker and client service manager, where she serviced client accounts, coached tellers on systems, policies and procedures and was responsible for branch audit policies and procedures. Sanchez also worked as a licensed sales associate at State Farm where she sold life, health, auto and home insurance.

Sanchez has volunteered for KeyBank’s Neighbors Make the Difference Day initiative for 16 years.
