Key Private Bank Names Alessi Senior Financial Planner, Herzig Trust Officer

Key Private Bank announced Andrew Alessi has been named vice president and senior financial planner, and Sasha Herzig has been named vice president and trust officer. Alessi and Herzig are based in KeyBank’s Capital Region headquarters office at 66 South Pearl Street in Albany.

Andrew Alessi is responsible for providing professional individuals and practices with comprehensive financial solutions covering investments, tax planning, health care, estate planning and charitable giving. Previously, he was wealth management advisor for TIAA-CREF in Latham, N.Y. He has also worked for State Farm Insurance as a field sales consultant and UBS Financial Services as a financial advisor.

Alessi earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the State University of New York at Plattsburg and his master’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL).

Alessi lives in East Nassau, N.Y. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and serves on the board of directors for Capital Region Nordic Alliance.

Sasha Herzig acts as an advisor in a fiduciary capacity with Key Private Bank. She assists clients in developing and executing their estate plans and identifying and resolving tax-related issues both during clients’ lifetimes and in preparation for future legacy planning. Prior to joining KeyBank, she was a practicing attorney for a boutique trusts and estates law firm in New York City.

Herzig earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and women’s studies form the State University of New York at Albany and her juris doctor degree from City University of New York School of Law, where she was founder of Law Students for the Arts. She is a member of the New York State Bar and a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts & Estates Committee.

Herzig lives in Troy, N.Y. An active member of the community, she serves on the Advisory Council of the American Heart Association.
