Jenifer Rinehart Joins Preferred Mutual as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Jenifer Rinehart has been named Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer of Preferred Mutual Insurance Company (“Preferred Mutual”). Rinehart will be responsible for developing and executing Preferred Mutual’s human resource strategy including talent acquisition, retention, talent development and succession planning, compensation, and performance management.

Rinehart brings to Preferred Mutual a wealth of human resources leadership expertise, with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Preferred Mutual, she held the position of Senior Vice President of Human Resources for WEX Inc., a global corporate payments solutions provider. She also previously served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Homesite Insurance Company, as well as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Harleysville Insurance Company. Prior to these roles, Rinehart held a variety of human resources positions for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, including Human Resources Director and Human Resources Project Manager in London, England. She later served as Chubb’s Chief Diversity Officer, and ultimately as Chubb’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Rinehart’s career reflects a commitment to academic achievement and professional growth. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science Program at Drexel University. Rinehart is also Professional Human Resource Certified, Myers Briggs Certified and DDI Certified in Behavioral Based Interviewing.
