January 5, 2024January is National Mentor Month 518 ElevatED is looking for 8 Mentors
January marks the celebration of National Mentor Month – a time dedicated to the impact mentors make in helping to shape and guide students. Mentoring is a key component of 518 ElevatED’s Pathways to College program. 518 ElevatED is a college, post-secondary, and career readiness program that provides specialized programs, mentoring, professional guidance, and financial support for qualifying students around the Capital Region.
Our mentor program is in full swing for 2024, and our current Scholars are thriving. However, we are still seeking eight more dedicated mentors to join our cause! As a mentor, you will share your expertise and experiences to guide our Scholars, empowering them to reach their full potential. Your positive influence has a lasting effect on the community. When you elevate one student, that student helps elevate their entire family and community. Together, we can make a stronger Capital Region!
