JAN-PRO of the Capital District Celebrates 20 Years

The Capital Region Chamber was proud to join JAN-PRO of the Capital District in celebrating their 20th anniversary. Staff and volunteer Ambassadors were joined by Senator Jake Ashby and Sam Stuto, representing Assemblymember Phil Steck, for a ceremonial ribbon cutting with owner Steve Rentz and his management team.

What makes JAN-PRO unique is their franchise development model. Each individual featured on the wall behind Steve represents a local entrepreneur who has invested in a JAN-PRO cleaning franchise—some of whom have been with the company since its early days. JAN-PRO is not only about providing professional cleaning and disinfecting services; it’s about creating opportunities for individuals to own and grow their own businesses.

JAN-PRO’s impact is felt across the region, including at our own Chamber office in Clifton Park, which they proudly service. As Steve Rentz shared during the ribbon cutting ceremony, “JAN-PRO is known for delivering a higher-quality clean. This reputation comes from our franchise owners having true skin in the game—they are personally invested and often onsite to ensure the job is done right.”

The Chamber congratulates JAN-PRO of the Capital District on this remarkable milestone and thanks everyone who joined in celebrating 20 years of entrepreneurship, growth, and community impact.
