July 15, 2015International Fraternity of Wrestlers Seeks Sponsors for 1980 Olympic Team Commemoration
The International Fraternity of Wrestlers is seeking a sponsor or group of Chamber members to sponsor 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist and 1980 Olympic Team member at event commemorating the 1980 United States Olympic Wrestling Team in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11.
The event will highlight Jeff Blatnick, who is a Niskayuna High School graduate and became the NY state heavyweight champion in 1975. Jeff passed October 2012 suddenly and this sponsorship would allow his family to attend and highlight the Schenectady area as his hometown in the program and the recordings of the event.
