International Center to Host Second Annual Sacred Spaces Tour

On Saturday, February 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the International Center of the Capital Region will be hosting the Second Annual Sacred Spaces Tour: Places of Love, Worship & Understanding.

The Capital Region’s diversity is reflected in its places of worship. Enjoy a unique guided bus tour visiting seven locations; the Wilborn Temple First Church of God in Christ, Albany ; The First Church in Albany, Albany; the Hindu Temple Society, Colonie;  Grace Fellowship, Latham; St. Michael’s Church (Polish), Cohoes; the Al-Fatemah Islamic Center, Colonie; and the Russian Orthodox Church, Colonie. View the symbols and architecture and hear the history of the area’s religious institutions.

The tour will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Colonie Town Library, 629 Albany Shaker Road Loudonville. The cost is $30 for ICCR Members, $35 for not-yet-members, and $15 for students. Snacks and transportation will be provided; Lunch, which is not included in the cost, will be preordered from The Restaurant at the Pointe, Latham.
