Inaugural Logan Cup to Help Raise Awareness For Childhood Cancer

Local Family starts foundation in honor of their son, Logan.

This May, The Logan Strong Foundation will be introducing its signature inaugural event, The Logan Cup. The Fogg family established  The Logan Strong Foundation in January of 2018 in honor of their son who was diagnosed with Congenital Glioblastoma. They saw a need in the community and are helping families now affected by childhood cancer who come through the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center.

“Logan is our miracle baby,” said Jennifer F. Hendricks-Fogg, event organizer and Logan’s mom.  Our focus is on raising the awareness of childhood cancer.  “We are excited for this event and the possibility of helping families during this very difficult  process, which we have experienced first-hand. ”

The golf tournament will be held on Thursday, May 17, at the Western Turnpike Golf Course. Registration will begin at 7am with a shotgun start at 9. Lunch will be provided at the Turn. There is cocktail  hour and dinner along with a silent auction.
