Hudson Valley Credit Union Announces New Leaders in Banking and Business Lending

Hudson Valley Credit Union is excited to announce new leaders that have recently joined the Banking and Business Lending teams.

John Guy joins HVCU as Senior Vice President, Executive Advisor to Community & Business Banking. In his new role, he will partner with the credit union’s lending and product teams to seek new opportunities for portfolio growth, product development, and marketing campaigns to drive business. John previously served Webster Bank as their Executive Vice President, Director Business Banking, where he was responsible for product and service development, marketing programs, and strategic commercial sales.

As Vice President/Director of Banking Administration, Robert (Bob) Kelly is responsible for optimizing productivity and the development of all sales goals to achieve strategic objectives for the credit union’s various business lines. He previously served as the Managing Director of Distribution, Performance Measures and Colleague Banking at Webster Bank. There he was responsible for banking analytics, budget management, employee incentive programs, and banking equipment strategy.

With more than 25 years of experience, Thomas (Tom) Varian joins HVCU as Vice President, Commercial Market President. He is the former Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President/Sales Leader for Brosnan Risk Consultants where he oversaw organizational restructures, cost control programs, and accounting strategies. At HVCU, Tom is responsible for driving business growth through membership expansion, lending, and other strategic sales plans.
