Hudson Valley Credit Union Announces New Hires and Promotion

Pete Stusvick joins HVCU as Vice President, Director of Retail Operations. In this role, Pete leads the Retail Branch Operations function for the cooperative, where he analyzes, validates and documents the effectiveness of existing operational business processes and develops strategies for meeting goals and objectives. Pete brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across retail banking, operations, and customer experience, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Retail Regional Sales Manager, at M&T Bank.

Mazaliya Jesmain joins HVCU as Assistant Vice President, Halfmoon Branch Manager. Mazaliya oversees branch operations, creating positive experiences for members and supporting the financial well-being of the communities HVCU serves. In her most recent role, she served as Senior Branch Manager at Trustco Bank, where she drove branch growth through deposit acquisition, loan production, and cross-selling strategies while leading daily operations, ensuring compliance and audit readiness, and delivering high-level customer experience.

Stephany Sanchez Saeteros has been promoted to Officer, Rotterdam Branch Manager. Stephany is dedicated to creating a welcoming branch experience, building meaningful member connections, and helping strengthen the communities HVCU serves.

Jerry Dominguez joins HVCU as Senior Commercial Loan Officer. Jerry helps potential business loan applicants understand which loan options fit their situation and guide them through the application process, making sure everything meets credit union and regulatory requirements. Jerry most recently served as Senior Managing Director of Commercial Banking at Peapack Private Bank & Trust, where he managed and grew a portfolio of commercial and business banking clients through consultative relationship management and proactive business development.
