June 18, 2025Hudson Valley Credit Union Announces New Hires and Promotion
Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) is excited to name two new branch managers, a Commercial Portfolio Manager, and welcome a Commercial Relationship Manager.
Kasey Nobles joins HVCU as Chatham Branch Manager. In this role, Kasey oversees operations to drive membership acquisitions by strengthening member relations. Additionally, she provides consistent development to staff, setting clear goals, objectives and expectations for the branch. In her most recent role, she served as Marketing and Business Coordinator at State Farm, where she was responsible for communicating with clients, fielding inquiries, processing claims and ensuring customer satisfaction. Kasey has more than 20 years of banking experience, previously serving as Branch Manager at Greylock Federal Credit Union with oversight of opening of a new branch location, exceeding numerous key performance indicators (KPI) during the first year of operation.
Renee Sledzianowski now serves as Chester Branch Manager, after serving as Middletown Branch Manager for Catskill Hudson Bank. Bringing 30 years of banking and leadership experience to this role, she oversees operations to drive membership acquisitions by strengthening member relations. Additionally, Renee provides consistent development to staff, setting clear goals, objectives and expectations for the branch.
Markland Shaw has been promoted to Commercial Portfolio Manager, where he oversees all HVCU commercial lending portfolio management functions, including the thorough review of all loans upon their initial acquisition, ongoing expansion, and overall retention. In addition, Markland will continue to develop and maintain relationships with members, offering solutions that align to their business goals.
Sheila Viera joins HVCU as a Commercial Relationship Manager. In this role, Sheila is
responsible for the management and development of internal and external commercial relationships. With nearly 30 years of banking and finance experience, she is a strategic leader known for driving growth, ensuring regulatory compliance and business development. In her most recent role, Sheila served as Deputy Treasurer for the Village of Green Island, where she managed the allocation of municipal funds, Section 8 program oversight, government reporting and property tax collection. Sheila is an alum of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce and Siena College Leadership Institutes.
