Hudson Valley Community College Celebrates 63rd Commencement; 1,976 Students to Graduate

Hudson Valley Community College will hold its 63rd annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 13 where 1,976 students will earn associate degrees and certificates. Of them, 412 will graduate with academic honors. Graduates from more than 80 career- and transfer-oriented programs range in age from 17 to 61. More than 220 studied exclusively online. There are 90 active duty members of the U.S. military or veterans of service.

John Gray, local news anchor and college alumnus, hosts the live broadcast on Spectrum Cable (where available) and online from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Doors open to guests at 7:30 am and the ceremony will begin at 8:45 am at the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, Hudson Valley Community College.

Please note: In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will be moved to the McDonough Sports Complex and overflow video viewing areas on campus. Due to space limitations, graduates are allocated three tickets to the McDonough Sports Complex and two tickets to the overflow areas.
