Hodgson Russ is pleased to announce that Hugh M. Russ, III has been inducted as a Fellow into the prestigious and distinguished American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), the “preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics and the administration of justice.”
The organization acknowledges and honors only the best trial attorneys located in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. ACTL Fellows include civil practice plaintiff and defense lawyers, public interest lawyers, prosecutors as well as criminal defense attorneys.
Hugh is a seasoned trial attorney who has argued more than 100 cases before juries in the last 30 years. He has represented individuals and businesses in virtually all areas of civil litigation throughout New York and the Northeast. Now, Hugh devotes much of his time to alternative dispute resolution, especially mediation and arbitration.
