Help Fight AIDS Through Books & Music Will Hold the Annual Books Sale at the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza for the 24th Consecutive Year

“Help Fight AIDS Through Books and Music”, a volunteer project for the Alliance for Positive Health, will be holding two benefit book and media sales in front of the Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza during the Plaza’s Annual Sidewalk Sales on Saturdays, June 24 and August 12 from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

The sales will feature a large supply of donated books, music and movies at bargain prices. In addition, 2017 “Entertainment” and “Save Around” coupon books will be free if the customer orders a 2018 edition.

The volunteer project has raised over $800,000 since it began 24 years ago.  Over 100 volunteers participate annually at various events. All proceeds support local services to people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS served by the Alliance of Positive Health.  Steve Kozlowski, the project’s volunteer coordinator, initiated the project and is a past Jefferson Award medalist. The Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza has sponsored the project since it began in 1993.

Volunteers and donations of quality new or recent books, music, and movies are needed. To get involved or for more information, contact Steve at 518.482.5602, steve@helpfightaids.com
