November 14, 2019Help Elementary Students in Schenectady County who are Facing Food Insecurity
There are an estimated 5,000 elementary students in Schenectady County who face uncertainty about what – or whether – they will be eating over the weekend.
The Schenectady Foundation and their partners, the City Mission and the Regional Food Bank, have expanded access to healthy food by giving students bags of food to take home for the weekend. They have improved food quality and increased the number of children served throughout the County, but your help is needed to continue expanding their work!
Please consider donating so all food insecure children can receive the health and nutrition they need and deserve.
