Open enrollment takes place from November 1st through 30th – Now is the time to review your health insurance needs, enroll for the first time or change coverage for 2025. New Enrollments – Small businesses of 2 to 100 employees and individuals/sole proprietors are eligible to enroll, with no minimum participation requirement! With the Chamber, your plan selection can be made at the employee level, with one bill for all enrollees.
Existing clients: Unless otherwise noted on our website, your group health insurance policy through the Capital Region Chamber will automatically renew on January 1, 2025, UNLESS you choose another policy during the open enrollment period. The premium rates and benefits for your policy may change – please review 2025 plan benefits and premiums at www.benefitchoicesny.com.
Open enrollment is an opportunity for you and your employees to purchase or change medical, dental and vision coverage. During the open enrollment period you and your employees may:
- Initially elect to enroll in any health plan offered – not limited to one plan per company;
- Elect to enroll in a different health plan offered;
- Enroll in a dental or vision plan;
- Add or remove dependents without a qualifying event
ENROLLMENT DEADLINE

2024 INSURANCE CARDS
New cards for 2025 coverage will begin mailing in mid-December. Late submittal of applications will cause late card issuance or an incorrect card may be issued.

The Capital Region Chamber is excited to partner with a new Administrator for our health insurance program. Marshall & Sterling will be handling our open enrollment process and on January 1, 2025 will provide all billing and client services.
