We celebrated the ribbon cutting for GRNE Solar ‘s first-ever location here in the Capital Region! GRNE, a subsidiary of Nelnet, administers a growing network of community solar installations, plus they install commercial and residential solar panels and can service existing installations. This is important where a homeowner needs to sell (or buy!) a home and the original panel installer isn’t around anymore. Thank you to Senator Jake Ashby for attending and presenting a Senate Citation as well as Colonie, New York Deputy Supervisor Rick Field. Chamber volunteer Ambassadors and other well wishers were also present.
