Greenstone Experiential Brings Life To The Summer With Socially Distanced Retreats and Business Programming

Greenstone Experiential (GreenstoneXP) is pleased to announce its new series of summer and fall retreats. These “pivoted” services for 2020 will be held at the Rotary Scout Reservation in Averill Park, NY which provides ample outdoor space to allow for social distancing in a group environment. With both customized programs for businesses in team building and diversity discussions, and organized retreats for individuals, there is an opportunity for everyone. Join GreenstoneXP to relax, refresh, renew and ease into the new normal with these socially distanced events.

Upcoming Retreats:

Women’s Retreat (August 15th)- Come join us for a day-long retreat for women: a chance to relax, reset, and renew. The day will begin with centering and intention-setting for the day, followed by meditation, mindfulness in nature, and gentle yoga for stress relief in the morning session. The afternoon session will provide a facilitated sociodrama on a topic chosen by participants, journaling and ample time for discussion and reflection.

A Summer Experience for Teens (August 12th, August 19th)- Teens are welcome to join us for an opportunity to reconnect and have fun in a camp-like setting. Teens, more than any other age group, need opportunities to interact with their peers, make new friends and practice communication skills while engaging in a safe manner that follows social distancing protocol. Activities will include ground games and challenges, light hiking, a scavenger hunt, orienteering, and more.

Renewal in a Time of Turmoil (August 21st, September 21st and October 3rd)- This retreat is for anyone who has experienced increased anxiety and uncertainty caused by the pandemic. Join us as we create a safe and compassionate space to share our experiences, find similarities and differences, discuss methods for coping and re-grounding, and find hope. The group experience will include icebreakers, mindfulness and yoga for groundedness, reflective journaling, and ample time for small and large group discussion.

Connections for Life Transitions and Loss (August 28th and September 23rd)- This retreat is for adults who have recently gone through any major life transition or loss. The group experience will include icebreakers, mindfulness and yoga, journaling, and ample time for small and large group discussion.

Participant numbers will be restricted for each event to allow for social distancing.

Business Programming (Scheduled by Request) For any business or work team looking for assistance with team building for transitioning back to work or looking for assistance navigating the dynamics of race and identity in the workplace.
