Green Tech High Charter School holding 2nd Annual Wine & Cheese Fundraiser

Green Tech High Charter School (GTH), a nonprofit organization devoted to providing young males the tools to successfully obtain a higher education, is holding its 2nd Annual Wine & Cheese Fundraiser on Friday, October 30, from 6 – 8 p.m.  The event will feature select pairings of wine and cheese, music, school tours and great raffle prizes! This event is free – donations are appreciated!

The fundraiser will be held at Green Tech High Charter School, located at 321 Northern Blvd., Albany, NY 12210. Admission is free and donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.  Proceeds will benefit The Green Tech High 2015-2016 school year.

“This is a fun and relaxing networking opportunity for professionals to taste some great wine and cheese, and support Green Tech High.  We look forward to a great evening,” said Dr. Paul Miller, CEO/Principal of Green Tech High Charter High School.

The Green Tech High class of 2015 recently graduated nearly 90% of its class this past summer, along with 100% college acceptance and a record breaking year for scholarships and grants awarded.  A recent study by Green Tech comparing Capital District urban school systems with a significant African American population has shown Green Tech students achieving higher rates of graduation, post graduate intentions to attend college and gain acceptance, English and Math Proficiency and Mastery, as well as Regents Exam Mastery.
