June 30, 2017Great Flats Brewing Now Serving in Schenectady
Great Flats is a family-owned and operated NYS Farm Brewery. Three months ago, Great Flats opened with three beers on tap. Now they’ve got seven beers and more on the way. Great Flats is focused on American-style ales, with a particular interest in IPAs and NYS styles such as Cream Ale. Great Flats uses NYS ingredients in their beer and is even experimenting with a small hop yard of their own. On Thursday, June 29th The Chamber along with it’s Ambassadors, local elected officials, family, friends and patrons made the dream a reality by cutting a ribbon for the grand opening! The small micro brew is quickly becoming on of Schenectady’s places to be. We hope Harry and his partners can keep up with the high demand that we are sure is yet to come!
