GlobalFoundries (Nasdaq: GFS) (GF) has announced that the GF–Town of Stillwater Foundation has approved its 2025 slate of public grants totaling $44,834 benefiting local community organizations seeking to bring educational opportunities and positive change to the health, safety and well-being of local residents. A check presentation and ceremony will be held today on May 1 at 6 p.m. in the Stillwater Town Hall.
The Foundation has invested more than $631,834 in organizations in the Stillwater community since 2011. In addition to the annual grants, the GF-Town of Stillwater Foundation awards annually a $1,500 STEM Scholarship to a qualified Stillwater High School senior.
The mission of the GF-Town of Stillwater Foundation is to provide tangible benefits of a public nature to groups located within the Town of Stillwater or providing direct services within the Town of Stillwater including not-for-profit corporations, charitable organizations, community arts and theater, community historical sites and events, education and sports and recreation.

As part of the development of the Fab 8 project, GF has contributed a total of $5 million to fund two stand-alone 501(c)3 charitable foundations: the GF-Town of Stillwater Foundation and the GF-Town of Malta Foundation. The first installment of $1 million was used to build a new recreational sports field complex in the Luther Forest Technology Campus and to make improvements to the Round Lake baseball fields.
