GlobalFoundries-Town of Malta Foundation Awards Annual Grants for 2023

For the 13th consecutive year, GlobalFoundries (Nasdaq: GFS) (GF) today announced that the GF-Town of Malta Foundation has awarded 30 grants totaling $144,331 to local organizations that support a variety of community needs and programs. With this year’s 2023 grants, the Foundation, formed by GF and the Town of Malta, has placed nearly $1.9M into service in the Malta community since 2011.

The 2023 Malta grant awards were presented this week at the David R. Meager Malta Community Center at the annual awards ceremony.

“Each year, the GF-Town of Malta Foundation invests in our community by spotlighting the phenomenal work of local organizations consistently working for the people of Malta and the surrounding area,” said Jennifer Pickering, president of the GF-Town of Malta Foundation. “We look for projects that are creative, innovative, and inclusive in their scope and provide the most benefit to the greater Malta community. The Foundation Board and organization representatives are pleased to present funding to a variety of projects and programs that give back and enhance our region.”
