Glamping Comes to Schuylerville

Camp Rockaway ribbon cuttingCapital Region Chamber Senior Vice President Pete Bardunias was the emcee for the June 24 ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Camp Rockaway glamping site on the shores of the Hudson River (Champlain Canal) just below Lock C-5 in Schuylerville. This really is a great place and adds so much to the experience of visiting the Schuylerville area.

The event was attended by Canal Corporation Director Brian Stratton, along with Saratoga County Clerk Craig Hayner, Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, Debbie Curto representing State Senator Daphne Jordan, Town of Saratoga Supervisor Tom Wood, plus staff and volunteer Ambassadors of the Capital Region and Saratoga County Chambers of Commerce.   Camp Rockaway founder Kent Johnson cut the ceremonial ribbon to the cheers of all who attended.

Who’s ready to go glamping?  The site is open for the 2021 season until Sept. 8. Plan your trip today: https://camprockaway.com/schuylerville/

Thank you to ribbon cutting sponsor, Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company.
