Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York Appoints New Director of Human Resources

Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York (GSNENY) has named Brandi Hamilton as its director of human resources.

In her new role, Hamilton is responsible for managing all aspects of the council’s human resource functions, as well as designing and implementing legally sound HR practices and policies that will support the strategic business goals and fulfill the organization’s workforce needs as economic conditions change. She will also serve as the lead functional subject matter and supervise the human resources staff.

Hamilton has worked for GSNENY for the last five years in the human resources department. Prior to becoming the director of human resources, she was the human resources assistant and then the human resources coordinator. Before joining GSNENY, Hamilton served as a Clinical Therapist at Omni Visions, Inc in Tennessee and spent the majority of her career working the crisis field, both as a clinician and then in the State Crisis Department, overseeing every mobile crisis team in the state of Tennessee.

She holds a bachelor of science in psychology from Belmont University and a master of art in clinical psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. Hamilton is a former Girl Scout and now resides in Delmar with her husband, Michael. They have two children, Drew and Lauren, and two dogs, Sarah Jane and Rose.
