- Kids 12 and Under Admitted Free with Paying Adult to Broad Array of Capital Region Events
SCHENECTADY, N.Y.— From concerts and sporting events to roller coasters and Broadway-style musicals, GE has announced its schedule of summer 2015 “GE Kids in Free Days” events across the Capital Region.
Through this popular community sponsorship program, GE (NYSE: GE) provides free admission to a variety of arts, cultural and sporting events for children age 12 and under when accompanied by a paying adult. More than 14,500 children were admitted to events at no charge in 2014, courtesy of the program.
GE is one of the largest private-sector employers in the Capital Region, with more than 7,000 employees at Global Research; Power & Water; the GE digital mammography manufacturing facility in North Greenbush; and a number of corporate office locations.
