May 23, 2023Gateway House Thrift Shop Grand Opening Celebration
Congratulations to the Gateway House of Peace and their new Gateway House Thrift Shop on their official grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting in the Town of Milton!
Dana Womer from the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association led the proceedings, with Andrea Cole representing the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and Pete Bardunias representing the Capital Region Chamber and its affiliates.
Milton Town Supervisor Scott Ostrander spoke, as well as Rayan Aguam representing Senator Jim Tedisco and Abby Burke representing Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh. Village of Ballston Spa Mayor Frank Rossi, Milton Deputy Supervisor Barbara Kerr and Milton Economic Planning Director John Olenik were also in attendance.
The Gateway House is our local hospice and it provides amazing end of life care to those who need it most. The Thrift Shop helps provide the funding to operate the Gateway House.
