Buzz Media Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of two prominent Capital Region business leaders, Gary Hughes and Dr. Clinton Ballinger, to the company’s newly created strategic advisory group. They will be assisting in the marketing firm’s operations and growth.
Gary Hughes has more than three decades of experience in public relations and corporate communications, including more than 15 years with MVP Health Care, where he was responsible for public and media relations across New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.
Gary has directed communications for The College of Saint Rose and provided public relations counsel to numerous clients of the former Albany-based Wolkas Communications Group. He specializes in communication surrounding health care, health insurance, government, public policy, education, and economic development.
As a member of the Schenectady County Legislature, Gary serves as majority leader. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Schenectady County Community College and the Chair of the Schenectady County Industrial Development Agency.
Dr. Clinton Ballinger is a CEO and serial entrepreneur with a reputation for lean business acumen. Clint’s diverse background includes founding and operating businesses, new product development, extensive capital raising experience, and global team development. He has started five companies in various technology sectors and has launched several “world’s first” products across multiple markets.
