Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant to open this summer at Crossgates Mall

Albany, NY-   Crossgates Mall is excited to announce that The Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant will open its premier comedy club at our center this summer.  Nationally recognized for bringing upcoming and star talent to their clubs, Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant is a welcome addition to Crossgates Mall.

Founder Mitch Kutash says, “We are excited to enter the Albany market. We have a beautiful facility that will compliment Crossgates Mall.”  Adds Vice President Todd Leinenbach, “With our half-round stadium style seating, the Albany location will continue our tradition of bringing the brightest stars of comedy that perform in 300-500 seat venues.”

Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant was co-founded by Mitch Kutash and Gerald Kubach over 30 years ago. The brand now has over 10 locations nationwide and continues to expand. The club has hosted comedic performances from Dave Chappelle, Ellen Degeneres, Josh Blue and Jerry Seinfeld, among others. The Funny Bone also seeks out local talent and up and coming comedians from across the country.

The new Crossgates location will offer a full service kitchen and separate bar from the showroom.  Corporate and private room rental for any event are available. Event services include full service kitchen or buffet menu and full bar.
