The Capital Region Chamber, as well as its Ambassadors, staff, clients, family and friends cut the ribbon on the Fuccillo Automotive Group’s newest dealership, Fuccillo Volkswagen of Schenectady.
Fuccillo Volkswagen of Schenectady first opened in 2013 at 2242 Central Ave. in a 14,000-square-foot facility, which is adjacent to the new showroom. The service department will continue to operate within the original facility, but features all new equipment and a standalone service drive. To accommodate the dealership’s growth over the past six years, Fuccillo renovated an existing vacant building that it owned at 2240 Central Ave. for the new showroom.
The new, state-of-the-art 9,000-square-foot showroom is modeled after exclusive German white-frame design standards, a unique style that is not commonly seen in the U.S. The new facility is energy-efficient, has an open floor plan, and includes a new sales delivery drive, which will be more convenient for customers. Additional features include a “Go Green” water filtration system and two enhanced customer lounges. The showroom opened in March 2019.
