The Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Center for the Promotion of Mental Health & School Safety at Russell Sage College and the New York State Council of School Superintendents invite the public to a free webinar, The Impact of COVID-19 on our School Communities: Stressors, Strategies and Lessons Learned. The webinar will be held on Feb. 24, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
During the event, superintendents from around New York state will share specific data about their districts and how they have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic. Time will be allotted for questions. NYSCOSS Executive Director Charles Dedrick, Ed.D., will moderate the panel discussion and Q&A session, featuring Jason Andrews, Ed.D., superintendent, Windsor Central School District; Cosimo Tangorra, Ed.D., superintendent, Niskayuna Central School District; Miatheresa Pate, Ed.D., superintendent, New York City Department of Education, Community School District 23; Alex Marrero, Ed.D., interim superintendent, New Rochelle City School District; and Patricia Kilburn, district superintendent, Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES.
