May 14, 2024Fred Astaire Dance Studios 25 Year Anniversary Ribbon Cutting
Boris and Sasha Spitchka have been helping Capital Region music lovers dance to the music of America’s Golden Age and more for 25 years, and they celebrated in style on April 12 with an anniversary ribbon cutting and open house, complete with dance demonstration by several instructors. Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Albany is required to maintain the highest standards of excellence through the company’s International Dance Council and Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios curriculum certification. Joining the author for the ribbon cutting ceremony were Assemblyman Phil Steck, Albany County Economic Development and Sustainability Coordinator Lucas Rogers, Colonie Deputy Town Supervisor Rick Field, and Carman Bogle representing Senator Jake Ashby, plus Chamber volunteer Ambassadors, well-wishers, and friends.
