Frank Adams Jewelers Unveils New Flagship Store

Frank Adams Jewelers is ushering in a new era of luxury with the unveiling of a recently completed flagship store located at 144 Wolf Road in the Town of Colonie. The new 7,500 square-foot location, designed by WCGS Architects and Studio K Design, is a testament to the jewelers’ commitment to the community and elevating the jewelry shopping experience in New York’s Capital Region.

“Leading this family business into the future is both a pleasure and a privilege. Today, we come together not only to celebrate the opening of our new store but to mark a significant transition signifying our commitment to evolution and growth,” said Kimberly Adams Russell, president, Frank Adams Jewelers.

The occasion was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by elected officials, Capital Region Chamber President and CEO Mark Eagan and Senior Vice President, Community Advancement Pete Bardunias, Discover Albany, Retail Council of New York State, family and staff.

“This location is more than a physical shift; it’s an opportunity for us to expand, innovate and enhance the customer experience that has defined Frank Adams Jewelers for more than a century,” added Adams Russell.

Frank Adams Jewelers first opened on North Pearl Street in downtown Albany as a watch repair shop by founder Frank H. Adams, Russell’s grandfather, in 1922. The business grew and moved to Stuyvesant Plaza where it remained for more than 30 years until January of this year.

Inside the flagship store, guests can peruse the expansive inventory of fine engagement and wedding rings, necklaces, earrings, pendants, bracelets, earrings and watches and other luxury gifts while sipping on a refreshing beverage. The Rolex boutique and the bridal salon each provide private consultation areas for clients who prefer privacy during their shopping experience. As a nod to its history, clients can watch the artisan watchmaker make and repair timepieces in front of their eyes through a viewing room. Once the weather breaks, an outdoor patio and courtyard with a custom clock tower will be used to host curated events and fundraisers.

The new location on Wolf Road, which is double the size of its previous location in Stuyvesant Plaza, is convenient for existing customers, while also offering increased visibility in a popularly traveled area.

The new location is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To learn more about Frank Adams Jewelers, please visit frankadams.com.
