May 8, 2024Frank Adams Jewelers Announces Staff Promotions as Kimberly Adams Russell is Introduced as Chief Executive Officer
After more than one hundred years in business, Frank Adams Jewelers, the Capital Region’s premier retailer of renowned designer jewelry and luxury Swiss timepiece brands, is honored to announce the promotion of Kimberly Adams Russell to chief executive officer. Adams Russell, who becomes the third generation of the Adams family to hold the CEO title, takes over from her father David Adams.
Having joined Frank Adams Jewelers in 1990, Adams Russell has played a pivotal role in steering the company’s growth trajectory, solidifying its position as one of the nation’s most prominent jewelry retailers. As president, she ran all day-to-day operations and recently oversaw the construction and move to a freestanding store on Wolf Road in Colonie. Personal accomplishments include The National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s ‘Fighting Spirit of Cindy Martin’ award, a ‘Woman of Excellence’ designation from the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce and a ’40 Under 40’ award from the Capital District Business Review.

Today, I can look around and see the results of their commitment and devotion to providing a level of service that is truly unmatched. I am honored to usher in the next chapter of Frank Adams Jewelers.”
With the promotion, Kimberly Adams Russell’s son, Jeffrey Adams Russell, steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer, marking the fourth generation of family involvement. Jeffrey first joined Frank Adams Jewelers in 2019, and has significantly enhanced customer experiences, reflecting his robust educational background with degrees from Quinnipiac University in Small Business Administration and Management, and an MBA in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and cycling.
Additionally, longtime employee and previous Vice President Timothy Ryan has been promoted to President. Ryan became a member of the Frank Adams team in 1998 as store manager and since then, has developed a vast client book. With more than 40 years of experience in the jewelry industry, his knowledge and experience, paired with commitment to community involvement are vital to Frank Adams’ continued success. Ryan is also dedicated to supporting local charities and fundraising efforts, working with several organizations, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Outside of work, Ryan is an active member of the Fort Orange Club and enjoys exploring the Capital District and beyond through swimming, running and cycling.
